Municipal Court Contacts
City courts keep their own local records. Use the citation and the official city or statewide municipal source to confirm current details.

- Bayard Municipal Court, 800 Central, 575-537-5438

- Hurley Municipal Court, 101 Cortez, 575-537-3220; Sixth District resources separately list court clerk 575-537-2797
A city police number can route a caller, but the municipal clerk and judge control a city warrant record.
Public Records Requests
Grant County’s GC-PRP-1 form asks the requester to name the custodian and describe records with reasonable particularity. Request an existing warrant, docket entry, return, recall or quash order, payment receipt, compliance record, or policy document. The county form does not print the copy-fee amount, and advance payment may apply.
Use the Grant County NextRequest portal or the paper form. Court records should be requested from the judicial district where the case was filed through the New Mexico Courts IPRA route.
